It’s not easy managing the fast pace and stress of our complex, ever-changing world and our awareness gets clouded. The fast pace can be exciting, but we can get burned out . . .
By using our awareness to feel the body and breath, we can create some space and ease. Breath by breath, we reconnect with ourselves.
Here are three things help:
- Guide the awareness to feel the breathing body
- Communicate with heart to connect
- Be grateful and kind
Guide the Awareness to the Breath
When things are tough, connect with our awareness and feel into the breathing body. When we focus, breathe and center, we can feel more at peace.
Mindfulness practices bring ease each moment. Our awareness noticing breath and body, practicing coming back again and again.
Connect with the Heart
Sometimes we can’t say what we mean and can’t listen well either. We are not understood, or we don’t understand our boss, our colleague, our partner–what does she or he really want?
Learning to be better communicators takes practice. And better listening.
When we connect and listen with our hearts we can hear what someone says and we can say what we mean. When we really want things to go better, sensing the heart helps us be present with others. We can talk to each other with more kindness. It’s amazing how well it works.
Gratitude for a Better Day
We hit a hard spell, and a bit of gratitude can brighten our day, lift our hearts. Grateful for life with its challenges; grateful for our blessings. Recollecting our own helpful acts–things we’ve done to help others.
Reaching out with a bit of wisdom and kindness is a way to help others, through your generosity you can spread gratitude and ease. A small gesture can bring courage and strength, helps us share our hearts and connect.
